Neat, a leader in Digital Filing Systems for the small business and consumer markets, today announced the acquisition of key assets fromChicago-based ProOnGo, a provider of mobile and web apps for expense management.  Neat will integrate ProOnGo Expense and ProOnGo Business Card applications to expand the expense management capabilities of NeatCloud and Neat mobile. ProOnGo's deep integration with cloud-based financial systems including QuickBooks® Pro, QuickBooks® Premier, QuickBooks® Enterprise Solutions and QuickBooks® Online, Xero, and others combined with Neat's OCR and parsing technologies will allow Neat to significantly expand it's expense management offering to business customers.

The integration of ProOnGo will further enhance Neat's ability to empower mobile professionals to work more efficiently and effectively.  NeatCloud and Neat mobile will benefit from broad financial institution compatibility and expense workflow included in ProOnGo offerings. ProOnGo Expense provides QuickBooks compatible expense reporting by enabling users to capture images of receipts with any smartphone, record reimbursable mileage using GPS, and track billable time by importing calendar entries and call logs.  Expense details can be viewed and edited via mobile app or web portal -- all of which will be folded into Neat's suite of products.

"The acquisition of ProOnGo will enhance Neat's ability to streamline and automate the credit card and expense report processes for our business customers," said Jim Foster, CEO, Neat.  "Mobile devices and mobile applications are changing the way business gets done.  We are pleased to be able to add this functionality for Neat customers and to introduce ProOnGo customers to the time-saving, productivity benefits of Neat."

Customers of both companies can expect a continuation of services and communications from Neat about enhanced functionality and new features in NeatCloud and Neat mobile.  Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.  ProOnGo Founder and CEO, Phillip Leslie has joined the management team at Neat.

"Our dream when we started ProOnGo five years ago was to put the power of receipt and business card scanning into the hands of every smartphone owner, and seeing our technology integrated into the Neat suite of products is the ultimate fulfillment of that vision," said Phillip Leslie, CEO, ProOnGo. "The next five years will be about evolving and expanding our apps within Neat's family of products to bring even more productivity to businesspeople."
