Inc just named 95 Chicago companies to the Inc 5000 list based on companies' qualitative growth. Many of the honored companies are members of Chicago’s digital tech scene like the three Chicago digital companies that landed in the top 500 spots of the list: digital marketing system company MAX Digital (ranked at 51), online insurance firm Insureon (107) and digital consultancy AKTA (414). BayRu, Mediafly, ContextMedia and Rise Interactive all landed spots in the top 1000 of the list.
Russian-US e-commerce specialist BayRu ranked at 619 with an overall growth of over 700 percent. The company has added about 75 jobs and has raised about $5 million in funding in the past three years.
Mediafly, which provides a content mobility cloud for Fortune 100 companies, ranked at 690 this year with a growth of over 600 percent (the company has added 15 jobs and raised about $1.3 million recently).
At No. 724 is health information services company ContextMedia, which jumped up the ranks from last year’s spot of 1803 on the Inc 5000 list. ContextMedia has added about 40 people to its employee base in the past three years under the leadership of Shradha Agarwal and Rishi Shah.
With a 535 percent growth over the past three years, digital marketing agency Rise Interactive landed at 843 on the list this year. The company has added over 65 jobs in the past three years.
Other Chicago digital companies mentioned on the Inc 5000 list include: Brad’s Deals (ranked at 1006), Devbridge Group (1313), Load Delivered Logistics (1702), Coyote Logistics (1868), Lextech (1911), Punchkick Interactive (2268), Guaranteed Rate (2457), SingleHop (2774), Paylocity (2785) and Solstice Mobile (2859).
