Cosmos acquires major stake in mobile personal assistant Terranova, gives boosts with $15M

Chicago-based Terranova, a developer of A.I. software, has received a $15 million infusion of funding from Cosmos Holdings, which acquired a majority 70 percent stake in the company. Cosmos has offices in Chicago, New York and Europe and announced the LOI deal Tuesday. Centro moving to the Loop

Centro has outgrown their office space once again, making the move from River North to the Loop. The tech company has just leased 67,000 square feet in the Sullivan Center on State Street. VISANOW Announces Richard Burke as President & CEO

Dick Burke has joined VISANOW, a provider of online immigration services, as President and CEO. Prior to joining VISANOW, Burke served in the top leadership role as President of Apartments.com, where he managed all of the business operations including the sales, marketing and finance sectors as well as the product development, production, customer service and technology departments. He will also join the company’s board of directors.

Agtech startup Chromatin raises another $12M

Agriculture-tech startup Chromatin has raised another $12 million round of financing. The money will be used to expand internationally and develop the product.
