The time has once again come to nominate Chicago’s leading tech startups for Built In Chicago’s 5th annual Moxie Awards! Now’s your chance to show your favorite companies and entrepreneurs the lovin’ they deserve.
Join us for Chicago tech’s hottest night of the year on June 16 at Morgan Manufacturing, where all of the city’s top techies gather to celebrate the strength and momentum of the awesome tech community we’re building right here in Chicago.
Nominations are open now and close April 30th. Finalists will be announced in early May, when voting will once again be opened to the public to help decide the winners.
A panel of judges, made of tech-loving journalists from local media publications, will also have a say in deciding the winner. Judges include Crain's John Pletz, Chicago Inno's Will Flanagan, and Built In's co-founder and CEO Maria Christopoulos Katris.
And this year’s set to be the best Moxie Awards yet. With 14 award categories, we’ll be recognizing the very best of what our tech ecosystem has to offer. We’ve introduced a number of brand new categories to the mix — including Best Social Impact Startup, Most Disruptive Startup, and Best Office Space.
Last year, more than 22,000 individual votes were cast, with some winners edging out their competition by less than one percent. With margins that close, you'll want to make sure to your voice is heard!
