Startup Grind’s Global Conference, February 23 at 11 a.m.

Hear from the entrepreneurs behind some of the world’s most successful startups including Basecamp, Slack, Box and 23andMe, as well as investors like Marc Andreessen and Ron Conway and The Innovator’s Dilemma author Clayton Christiansen (Harvard Business School) at Startup Grind’s live streamed global conference. There will be snacks, beverages and opportunities to meet fellow members of the Chicago startup community.

Designing your service around experience, February 24 at 9 a.m.

If you want a users to choose — and stick with — your service, you can’t afford to skimp on your emphasis on user experience. At this event, you’ll learn how to involve stakeholders and understand their experiences in navigating your service.

Legal and practical considerations for emerging music tech companies, February 24 at 6 p.m.

As the music industry’s relationship with the tech sector grows ever closer, the two industries will have to figure out how to work together in ways that are both practically and legally feasible. Speakers at this event include Martin & Bell attorneys Jeff Becker and Bill Patterson, who specialize in entertainment and media and technology and new media, respectively. The event will be followed by a reception hosted by Lagunitas Brewery.
