Big week for big hires: 6 new execs join Chicago companies

Occasionally, there's so much movement in the Chicago tech industry that we just have to recognize where all the talent is going. This week, we had six big tech hires join some of the coolest Chicago tech startups. Check out all the top hiring news below. 

 

Outcome Health hires former U.S. CIO

Outcome Health, formerly known as Context Media, has hired Vivek Kundra as EVP of provider solutions. Kundra previously served as the nation’s first Chief Information Officer under the Obama administration and has since held an executive vice president role at Salesforce. In his new role, Kundra will drive growth and innovation across operations and solutions teams.

 

Braintree taps Lending Club CTO to lead tech team

Payment solutions provider Braintree hired John MacIlwaine as Chief Technology Officer, the same role he served in at Lending Club. He’s taking over for Juan Benitez, who was simultaneously serving as CTO and general manager of the entire company. He’ll now serve as general manager full-time.  

 

 

Lindsay Dagiantis joins Envoy as VP of HR

Envoy, formerly VISANOW, has hired former Rise Interactive HR leader Lindsay Dagiantis as VP of human resources. Dagiantis helped Rise secure a place on Ad Age’s “Best Places to Work” list. Her new role will enhance retention and engagement with building up the Envoy culture.

 

Fooda brings on two new VPs

With two new vice presidents, food tech startup Fooda is expanding both its footprint and its tech team. Dan McCormick is joining the team as VP of market expansion, helping to take the company’s office food delivery service national. McCormick is a vet of the Chicago tech scene. He was part of the founding team at Kapow and among the first 50 Groupon employees.

Former Microsoft engineer Sanjit Saluja is Fooda’s new VP of engineering. In addition to his time a Microsoft, Saluja also helped to build mobile and cross-platform tools for Zillow. In his new role, he’ll be overseeing a growing tech team building out Fooda’s product.

 

FourKites brings on Chief Revenue Officer from Uptake

Real-time freight tracker FourKites hired Steve Bachert as Chief Revenue Officer. Previously, Bachert was VP of global sales at Uptake, scaling the sales organization there. At FourKites, he’ll lead go-to-market strategies around the world and help drive revenue growth with an emphasis on scalability.
