The Aftermath of Startup Weekend

You may have heard all the buzz about the Startup Weekend event that just passed. If you happened to miss the event or have ever wanted to participate, coach, or just see what all the hype is about I strongly encourage every entrepreneur to try this event at least once. Being placed in a 54 hour pressure cooker to build a tangible product or business by the end of a weekend, something that takes most startups months to accomplish, is an experience unlike any other.

I've had the pleasure of participating and coaching in the past two Startup Weekend events held in Chicago. Walking away with a first place win, new team (WeDeliver), and ultimately quitting my job as a result, I have seen first hand how valuable this event truly is.
