At Devbridge Group, we have been hard at work, tweaking our recipes, perfecting our processes and creating efficient and powerful components for a range of applications. Now, we’ve brought these components together with an all new website, and we call it Sourcery. Sourcery is a solution born from specific challenges; it is the completely rational result of hours of mad science. Our skilled developers and designers are constantly experimenting with open source solutions, and we’d like to share our technological successes with you in one convenient place.

Sourcery is that one convenient place. Previously, some of our components could be found on Microsoft’s site, the Azure Cloud App Gallery, the NuGet Gallery, the Windows Web App Gallery or scattered about from other different sources throughout the internet. Now, all in one place, our one-stop host site includes the following components:

BetterCMS is our simple, easy-to-use cloud-based content management system that focuses on user experience but is still technologically superior. It’s not witchcraft, it’s just that BetterCMS is a powerful, highly functional solution that exhibits exceptional levels of usability and customizability, which are crucial for an integrated and effective content management tool.

Also included is our Ajax Autocomplete for jQuery, which allows you to create autocomplete and autosuggest boxes for text input fields seamlessly. We’ve also hosted our HTML5 Drag & Drop Ajax File Uploader, and efficient file upload manager that abstracts HTML5 files as well as drag and drop API. This file uploader is lightweight and small with no dependencies, and it is pure JavaScript so you can use it with any web framework.

For modal window management, our jQuery Modal lightbox management component allows for simultaneous multiple modal popup management. We’ve also included our Selenium Tools library, which features Selenium Grib Hub extensions for the NUnit unit testing framework. Lastly, you can find our Bluepay API.NET wrapper, a secure payment processing component for authorizing payments for credit or debit cards on Sourcery.

All of these components are easily maintained, secure and flexible. Thanks to Sourcery, they’re all now available for free from one convenient host. To complement our selection of open-source software components, Sourcery also syndicates engineering research from the Devbridge Blog, giving you up-to-date insight and information as well as expert analysis from both a technical and strategic perspective. So many times with open source software, the software itself doesn’t come with anything that could be potentially helpful. We’ve included our insight with Sourcery so you’re not left in the dark.
