We are two students at Chicago Booth focused on entrepreneurship and are starting a business that connects Chicago and New York based start-ups with interns and full-time hires from top schools.

In our initial round of research, we spoke with many entrepreneurs and identified a need for a faster, more effective way to hire smart people that have the right personality and drive to work at a start-up. We have also learned from conversations with career services that their students are increasingly interested in working for start-ups – more traditional careers just aren’t as plentiful or compelling as they once were. However, there isn't a great way for students to find start-up opportunities outside of their personal networks.

We are working with several Top 10 schools to create a pilot program this fall that will connect students with promising start-up opportunities. In order to ensure that our solution works well for start-ups, we are interested in speaking with entrepreneurs at Chicago-based start-ups that have between 10 and 75 employees to hear your thoughts and opinions. We are also seeking 10-15 more companies to join our pilot program.

If you are interested in sharing your insights, learning more about our start-up, or working with us in some capacity, please contact Gale Bowman via BiC or e-mail ([email protected]).
