'Built in Chicago' aims to promote digital innovation in the Windy City

Matt Moog builds social networks for a living as CEO of Viewpoints Network, but his latest creation isn’t commercial. Built in Chicago, which Mr. Moog launched in September, aims to bring Chicago’s entrepreneurial and tech community together online.

The network has already added 1,400 members, which Mr. Moog calls “a nice start toward building critical mass. He tells Silicon City more about the project and his hopes for Chicago’s entrepreneurial community.
