ChicagoNEXT has announced the final ten companies that will be showcased at its Chicago Venture Summit this October. Designed with venture investors in mind, the Summit aspires to show the best venture-backed technology companies in the Midwest.

- Eved, a Skokie startup offering business solutions and an online marketplace for meetings and events
- 4C, a Chicago big data firm that quantifies social affinity
- GiveForward, a locally-based website for charitable fundraising
- Iris Mobile, using rich media messaging to help retailers reach customers
- Narrative Science, turning statistics into stories
- Options Away, with solutions for travelers whose plans are in flux
- Pangea, a payment platform backed by BW Capital Partners, Chicago Ventures, FireStarter Funds, Jump Capital, OCA Ventures, and Origin Ventures
- Procured Health, providing cloud-based healthcare solutions
- Shiftgig, an online community that connects job candidates with the hospitality industry
- Shoutlet, an enterprise-classed social platform based in Wisconsin
- TempoIQ, a Chicago startup offering analytics solutions for sensor data environments in the oil and gas, smart grid, and solar energy sectors
- ThinkCERCA, a Common Core State Standards aligned literacy program for educators
- UICO, manufacturing touchscreens for a wide range of sectors
- Zipnosis, a 24/7 online medical diagnosis system based in Minneapolis
- Zipscene from Cincinnati, a data-driven marketing platform for chain restaurants
The Chicago Venture Summit will be held in October at Venue Six10 on Michigan Avenue. It will feature presentations from dozens of emerging Midwestern tech firms, panel discussions with major tech leaders and thinkers, and opportunities to dine and talk shop with C-suite executives.
