Just this past Tuesday night, our Spring Quarter students rocked out 1871 with their Demo Day presentations. And while the 19 teams showed off their great web apps, those five-minute presentations really represented was three months of hard work.

80 students came from all over the country and the world to Chicago for three months to learn web development, user experience, and HTML/CSS. These students also represent various professions and industries - lawyers, professors, journalists, art directors, and even a UPS truck driver!

And while it's always amazing to share the diverse backgrounds of our students, the commonality is that they all came here to make their ideas real.

Last quarter was special because it marked Code Academy's first quarter in 1871. We couldn't have started off this great relationship with a better group of students. Most of the time it was hard to tell who wasn't a Code Academy student, with dozens of them packing the shared space. So with this I say thank you to the awesome students of Spring 2012! We look forward to seeing what you do next!
