Not long after Apple launched its first iPhone, a self-described “ragtag bunch” of designers, engineers and finance geeks left their jobs to launch Devbridge Group. What the five founders shared in common: a mutual dissatisfaction with the overall lackluster aesthetics and functionality on the web. “We thought it could be done better—more elegant, more usable, more user-friendly,” says Aurimas Adomavicius, 35, a co-founder and company president.
Today, the company caters to a wide array of web design needs, from developing mobile banking apps to management platforms and apps for field technicians in manufacturing. No matter the project, one popular feature is the company’s Power Up app—which lets clients keep tabs of projects in progress and offer input.
