That products and services don’t build businesses.  People do.  The people are most important.  And, of course, you still need great strategy and execution!

 Don’t be afraid to try something new, but of course don’t be stupid :)


What is a new startup everyone should know about? 

 I tend not to think in absolutes.  So it’s really hard to pick just one.  What’s impressed me is the number and quality of startups in Chicago and the talent and energy of the founders I’ve met.
