Easy Beauty goes BETA with its Professional Beauty Marketplace and Salon Management System.

CHICAGO, Illinois – June 2, 2014. Easy Beauty, a digital marketplace and salon management system, announced today the successful launch of their private beta program. Easy Beauty gives beauty businesses, professional hair stylists, barbers, nail techs and estheticians the technology and tools they need to manage their businesses and order their professional grade products anywhere, anytime to be delivered to their place of business. Easy Beauty will leverage an Apple iPad that will be placed directly in the work environment of the salon, spa or salon suite to give the professional on-demand access to the professional products and tools that they use to provide their services. An iPad App will also be available for free download in the Apple App store upon full launch of the service, which is planned for mid-July.

“The interest in our beta program has been fantastic. We are looking forward to working with our beta salons and manufacturers to get valuable feedback on what we can do to perfect our product”, says CEO and founder George Powell. “Since our inception, we have worked directly with beauty professionals to gather the requirements for what our product currently includes. We didn’t operate in a vacuum and create something that we thought the industry needed. We interviewed countless beauty professionals, learned their needs and pain points, and the data we gathered has resulted in the set of features that our solution provides today.” Although the beta version of the Easy Beauty product provides a subset of the total planned features, beta customers and manufacturers will have access to the cornerstone features of the product: its iPad and App-driven digital marketplace, expense and diversion reports, and product penetration tools.

Pricing to install the iPad and access the digital marketplace will be free, but to have access to other management features will require the user to purchase a subscription. Subscriptions will start at $19.99 per month, and will top out at $39.99 per month for the complete service.
