Get fixed up now - Project Fixup has launched!

It's been a wild ride over the last two months since my co-founder Alan and I first started working on Project Fixup, and our experiences to date have absolutely reinforced to me that Chicago is a fantastic city for launching a startup.

We are excited to announce that Project Fixup has officially launched. People can now officially sign up now to get fixed up over craft beer during the 2nd week of July or fill out our short questionnaire so we can start organizing other fixups (board games, wine, Summerdance, sushi) that meet their needs.

Our progress to date is integrally tied to the support we've received from the Chicago community. From the speakers at Booth Launch who inspired us to move fast and make it happen to our good friends at i.c.stars who sent the original tweet that led to a Thrillist feature to the 100+ people who took our customer development survey and provide invaluable feedback on our idea to the good people at Technori who selected us for their most recent Pitch so we could announce our launch in front of an 400+ person audience (and thus provided some helpful pressure to make sure we were actually ready to launch at that time), we've experienced the exact type of supportive culture Chicago is known for.

We're still just getting started and excited to keep working with everyone and anyone who wants to provide feedback, advice, criticism, or support. Drop me a line at [email protected] anytime - I'd love to meet for coffee and chat about ideas.

Oh yeah, and if you're single, give Project Fixup a shot :). If you're not single, reach out to a friend who is and tell him or her to try it. It's gonna be fun and it's awesomeness guaranteed - what's not to love?
