This program, now in its 27th year, recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs from high-growth companies. Particular areas of interest to the panel of independent judges were innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Among the winners were kCura’s Andrew Sieja and GoHealth’s Brandon Cruz and Clint Jones. Sieja won for the Technology category, while Cruz and Jones took home honors for the Private Equity/Venture Capital Backed segment.

The GoHealth social media team celebrated Cruz and Jones’ success with a series of tweets, including this one:

We're very proud! RT @EY_Chicago: PE/VC #EOY winners are Brandon Cruz and Clint Jones of @GoHealthDotCom. Way to go, Brandon and Clint.

These leaders, along with the other winners, contributed to an overall growth of company revenue by 31% and employment by 11% from 2010 to 2012. Next, the winners will compete on the national level and against other regional champions. The overall winners will be announced at a gala on November 16, 2013, in Palm Springs, California.
