How Belly and Sertifi Linked Up to Get Things Done

One of the biggest challenges facing local businesses is customer retention. Two-year-old Belly aims to fix that by offering merchants across the country a universal loyalty program, giving customers a central place to earn points from a variety of vendors. Despite strong growth, however, one of the biggest challenges facing Belly recently was gathering merchant contracts easily, efficiently and smoothly. That’s where Sertifi comes in.

 

Available on AppExchange, Sertifi allows inside sales teams to easily sign contracts, while also enabling them to track and report such deals. Since April of this year, Belly has been using the Chicago-based service to manage its merchant onboarding process.

Today, inside sales at Belly uses Sertifi for everything from eSignatures to sending Salesforce-integrated contracts directly to merchants. Not only does this save time, this process eliminates the need for manually entering the same data for each new contract. Among the features that sets Sertifi apart is Deal.Stream, which, in Belly’s case, gives the sales team and merchants a place to discuss deals in a real-time feed.

“Companies find the solution unique compared to other eSignature providers because of the advanced collaboration and payment features. Leading companies have even switched over to Sertifi because they need a solution beyond traditional eSignatures – they want a complete solution,” Stojka says. “They find Deal.Stream and the ability to take payments to be the missing puzzle pieces.”

With Deal.Stream, the days of unending email threads and mistakenly deleted messages is gone. Instead, the product allows the whole conversation to take place in a centralized feed. Others can be looped in with email invites and a full conversation log is available for future reference.

Perhaps the most beneficial aspect of the Belly-Sertifi relationship is that it eliminates the need for paper contracts, removing faxing, printing and mailing from the process. Instead, merchants can sign up on the go from any Internet-enabled device. No wonder Belly now sends 99% of its contracts through Sertifi.
