The ITA CityLIGHTS Awards program honors companies and individuals whose innovation and success drive growth in the technology industry and Illinois
CHICAGO, IL – AUGUST 10, 2016 – Hyde Park Angels has been selected as a finalist for Illinois Technology Association’s 2016 ITA CityLIGHTS Industry Champion Award. Since 2006, Hyde Park Angels has invested millions of dollars in over 40 companies, creating over 1000 jobs in the Midwest. So far in 2016, HPA has already surpassed the previous years’ dollar amount in investments and is on track to set additional milestones in number of deals done.

The winners for each category, with the exception of the CityLIGHTS Industry Champion, are determined by a compilation of the judges’ scores and voting by the public at large. The winners will be revealed at the ITA CityLIGHTS Awards ceremony on Thursday, September 15 at Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago.
