Howdy, Chicago folks!

My name is Steve Gadlin. A few years ago I went on Shark Tank with my stick figure cat drawing company, inked a deal with Mark Cuban, and accidentally had a real live company on my hands (http://iwanttodrawacatforyou.com).

I'm embarking on my next accidental business, and would love to get you involved. I'm producing a 26-episode season of my television show, Steve Gadlin's Star Makers. It's a loving homage to cable access talent showcases of the 1970's and 1980's, featuring talent culled from Craigslist and other questionable sources.

We've launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for this ambitious season. While it looks like a fundraiser, we're giving away complete advertising packages as the rewards - so we're really using it as a platform for making those ad sales.

We're looking for local companies that are interested in purchasing TV advertising in our show.

Packages start very cheap - $28/week gets you a thirty-second spot in every episode, which will air twice weekly. You'll have 104 airings on broadcast and cable, plus a presence in our YouTube channel, Roku channel, and podcast.

This is a great opportunity for companies looking to dabble in television advertising and test its effectiveness.

For our part, we'll continue to build buzz around the show. I promise you'll get far more than $28 worth of value each week. We've already done a couple of promotional appearances on WGN Radio, and have plenty more lined up in anticipation of our second season.

Please do check out our Kickstarter project. Watch a few clips. Shoot me any questions you have. We're looking forward to having you as a sponsor on our show. Let's keep TV weird! Whoopy!
