I had the honor of being invited last Friday to talk about Chicago's tech entrepreneurship scene on Fox Chicago's morning show with Anna Davlantes. Here's the segment.
I put in a little plug for BuiltInChicago ;-) and wish we had time to talk about youth entrepreneurship and the jobs that startups/small firms are creating, both of which were on the agenda. Unfortunately, we ran out of time.
And I wish I would have known that they were going to call TechWeek Technology Week. Alas, I only found out during the interview, and figured it might be bad taste to rudely interrupt Anna, so I had to bite my tongue.
At the very least, I was encouraged by the fact that a morning show - which typically does headline news, gossip stories, and crime blotter stuff - has recognized that something is indeed happening in Chicago's entrepreneurship ecosystem.
