The CEC is excited to host Code Academy for their demo day at 1871 next week.
This inaugural event marks the launch of CEC’s new journey as the operator and manager of 1871. While our official opening date is May 2, we are working with a number of startups and organizations to test the space and work out the kinks- in true startup fashion, we will be in beta mode during April.
Following Code Academy demo day, we have numerous public events scheduled including the Lean Startup Circle, Entrepreneurs Unpluggd Startup Law Summit, Built in Chicago monthly meetups, Tech in Motion, Chicago Health 2.0, Data Without Borders, Chicago Ignite...just to name a few.
In addition to great space, great connectivity and great coffee, we have an amazing roster of weekly workshops and seminars planned including over 100 business related topics varying from sales and marketing, to financing, legal, design, product development, talent and strategy. We will also host several hundred office hours with outstanding mentors who are entrepreneurs, investors and executives with relevant experience and expertise on building tech startups.
