As a nonprofit organization with the mission of making art accessible to everyone, IPaintMyMind is dedicated to helping provide communities of all backgrounds, ethnicities, races and classes with more of the arts programming they love & need.
We lead with our mission, and we find that lots of businesses are looking for new ways to give back to support the important work happening in their backyard.
For us, it’s always been about figuring out a way to build a model that is beneficial for everyone involved & helps us fulfill our mission. Since we’re entrepreneurial in spirit, we love linking up with companies that have big visions, disruptive technologies, and big hearts, and the Shared Walls program is one way we do that.
Through Shared Walls, we offer paid loaned art exhibitions to businesses that help transform their spaces. It’s an incredible low-cost service that brings offices to life, providing an opportunity for our service to financially fuel our mission.
The idea is: get art, give back.
This is how it works:
We purchase art from our favorite artists and loan it out to private partners at a fee, then use that revenue to offer free art exhibitions to community spaces like schools, parks, and libraries, places that need these types of programs but just can’t afford them.
By hosting portions of our collection on their walls, our business partners achieve the goal of community involvement and a sweet office at the same time. It’s a win, win, win.
