I am very excited to announce the relaunch of Roomations (www.roomations.com), a site that connects homeowners with interior designers online. We're sort of a CrowdSpring meets Amazon for interior design services and home products.
The site connects homeowners with freelance interior designers, who create 3D photorealistic renderings of rooms, and tag products displayed in the designs with real products available at big box retailers such as Ikea, Crate & Barrel and Home Depot to create a customized shopping list. Through this model, the site makes custom design services, traditionally only affordable to America’s most wealthy, accessible to the average person.
All three founders, Katie, Lakshmi and Jessica, met while at the University of Michigan. Now based in Chicago, we're partnering with Chicago-based Sphere Consulting, Inc who created our cutting-edge new site!
