OnlyADate.com is a dating website that revolutionizes online dating by eliminating online communication between members, maintaining profile confidentiality, and integrating an online reservation system to schedule actual dates. Members can either create a date at the restaurant of their choice or apply privately for existing dates where profiles are only seen by the date hosts. Unlike traditional dating websites where members can scroll through thousands of profiles, OnlyADate.com members can only see the profiles of individuals that are hosting dates and their profile is maintained completely confidential.
Background
In Spring of 2009, I begrudgingly signed up for an online dating website with very low expectations, much to my surprise, I met a nice girl who I am proud to say, I am happily married to today. Although online dating worked for me, the majority of people do not have the same luck. Over 50% of people that sign up for traditional dating websites quit within 3 months due to frustration.
Problem
Men – forced to waste countless hours scanning the profiles of and sending fruitless messages to other members with no response and ultimately ending up without a date. Did you know that over 90% of female profiles on major online dating websites are not active?
Women – tired of getting non-stop messages from members that you have no interest in and feeling obligated to politely respond? There is a better solution!
Solution
OnlyADate.com was designed to make it REALLY simple, efficient, confidential and fun to meet people on real dates in the real world. Instead of wasting countless hours behind a computer screen, messaging members whose profiles may be inactive or not interested, members have only 2 options on OnlyADate.com - create a new date or apply for an existing date (there is no other form of member-to-member online communication).
When you “create” a date, a restaurant reservation is made online for you at the restaurant, day and time of your choice. By creating a date, you also make yourself visible to the entire website community in your area which allows other online members to confidentially apply to go on a date with you. Only you, the date host, is able to view "applicant" profiles in a screening process to determine which member you are interested in. Once you select your date, the applicant is alerted via email to confirm the date details. As an applicant, you are able to confidentially apply for a date and if you are not selected, the $10 fee is returned to you in the form of credits to be used toward future dates. The website provides a streamlined process of creating dates when you are free and selecting the candidate that appeals to you most!
