The "Ticket Community" Concept

There is a concept that is central to SeatSync and what we are trying to build: a ticket community. At its most basic, we are taking the textbook (ok fine, Wikipedia) definition of a community and bringing it to the secondary ticket marketplace:

"A group of interacting people, living in some proximity in space, time, or relationship," buying and selling tickets in a local, convenient marketplace.

As we all know, some of the fastest growing companies in recent years have found a way to harness the power of individuals within a community, ultimately to the benefit of the entire group. Facebook, Groupon, Reddit, Instagram, Flickr, and the list goes on and on. But among the various options in the secondary ticket market, there is no service that adds even a glimpse of a "social" component to the ticket exchange. We aim to change that.

SeatSync is the first mobile, peer to peer ticket marketplace designed to create a community of fans that interact through buying and selling tickets. We facilitate easy, face to face ticket transactions. Our app is designed to be efficient with your time, and transparent about the true face value of a ticket and how that compares to the listed price.

There are no hidden fees or service charges. It is free to list tickets, and free to buy tickets. Just a $2 charge per completed transaction to the seller, only charged if your tickets sell and your transaction is complete.
