Tickets You Can't Use? Get good concertKarma

I am passionate about music and go to as many concerts as I can. Luckily, Chicago has been a great place for music a lot longer than it's been a great place for startups. We have incredible venues, well-educated music consumers, and attract many of the world's most established, and least established, great musical talents. Often, I find myself holding extra tickets to concerts - maybe a conflict came up or a friend cancelled. Rather than going through the arduous process of selling the tickets through StubHub or Craigslist, I really just don't want the tickets to go to waste! I want the tickets to be used by someone who will enjoy the show.

At concertKarma we want to enable people to give away their unusable tickets.  In return, they help the music community and get good concertKarma which, we believe, will come back to them when they need tickets.

Someone gets a free ticket, the venues get more patrons, and the bands play for larger crowds.  The only losers - the ticket scalper and their jacked up prices (sorry?).   concertKarma is competing in the 2012 Chicago Lean Startup Challenge!  If you are a concert-going programmer and wants to be a part of the 2012 Chicago Lean Startup Challenge, I'd love to hear from you.
