[Webinar] Interns: Relocating a Different Demographic

We have finally entered the summer months - which means relocations are ramping up! Companies and students are beginning their 3-month journey together through internship programs, and there is a lot of opportunity on both ends of the spectrum.

So what does this have to do with relocation?

You might not think it, but interns relocate for their positions a lot. Bigger companies often times find themselves having to go out of their local candidate pool and search out of state to find the perfect fit for their internship program. With this being said, interns need just as much support in their relocations as your average transferee. This support will not only make your company look prepared and supportive, but it will give you the competitive edge against your competitors.

Relocating interns can be tricky. They require a lot of support, attention, and a different set of resources than your typical full-time employee. Many companies find themselves unsure of how to handle their intern relocations, so we are hosting a webinar to inform you of some of the best practices.

This webinar, hosted by Director of Business Development Jaime Lindsay and Relocation Consultant Susan Kifus, will be on April 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm CT. Topics that will be discussed are:

  • Different intern personas
  • What interns need in their relocations
  • The required supplier networks
  • The support you should be giving throughout the process
  • Educational content for interns
