Why Blab Should Be Your Channel of Choice for Thought-leadership

This post was originally written by Jason Mollica:

The last ten years have seen a seismic shift in not only how business is done, but also how marketers get the word out to their influencers and followers. Facebook and Twitter started the trend, with YouTube, Instagram and the like, following. As is the case, there is always something new for us to learn and utilize to help position ourselves as thought leaders.

Blab is relatively new on the social media scene (it launched in 2015) and has already become a great way for people to chat, connect, and converse in real-time. It’s also an app that you should be downloading now. What makes Blab that much better than a Facebook video or Snapchat? It gives a great opportunity to provide conversations between your brand and your brand’s influencers. This, in turn, helps to really expand and enhance your thought-leadership.

Think about it for a moment. Blab could give you the opportunity to do mini-webinars, introductions to new products, or a real-time Q&A through chat.  The app gives you the ability to post to Twitter, allowing you to send out tweets. This means you can share knowledge both on video and a hashtag. This keeps the discussion going before and after. Social marketers should be thrilled to take advantage of this for the simplicity as well as its personal video setting. Because video participants are limited to just four people, Blab allows brands to fully engage with their fans in a fun and relaxed environment.

One concern for brands may be the “off-the-cuff” discussions. But, in a time when customers are looking for authenticity, influencers have the opportunity to give honest and real answers. Most social media marketers are used to regular engagement with their audiences, so including influencers can heighten the potential for solid relationship-building during Blab casts.

Think YouTube is obsolete? Think again. Once you wrap your Blab cast, you can upload a portion of it, thanks to Blab’s video capture feature. You can even share on Vine and Instagram, as well. Blab is also set up in a way that makes it a great choice for real-time marketing.  Put all of this together with the right influencer and you’ve got a winning broadcast.

Don’t miss out on new opportunities for your brand or business. Take a moment to look at Blab and see how your thought-leadership capabilities can soar.
