G2 Crowd is a trusted site for business software reviews designed to help anyone, from end-users to CIOs, compare and select the best software based on authentic peer reviews and ratings. G2 Crowd provides a resource for businesses of all sizes to access unbiased, first-person insight and best practices to guide technology purchase decisions.

G2 Crowd is also a second-generation Chicago startup. Following the successful exit from their prior company, BigMachines (which was sold for more than $100 million to private equity), the cofounders started working on G2 Crowd. Led by a vision of bringing authenticity and transparency to the business technology industry and supported by $2 million of its own capital, the team is now 10 members strong, and the site has grown to nearly 4,000 users sharing more than 15,000 ratings and reviews of business software.
