We are looking for an Account Director to join our integrated agency team on a Fortune 500 Education client.  The Account Director is responsible for driving strategy for innovative digital direct marketing programs that deliver outcomes for our client.  An ideal Account Director is a digital marketing professional with experience across the entire digital landscape with a focus on the consumer journey - from paid search media through to online site experience conversion – while leveraging data to identify opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

Strategic thinking and leadership

  • Be a strategic advisor and proactive account manager that builds strong client relationships and sets strategic marketing plans
  • Navigate client needs, objectives and challenges and proactively identify new areas of opportunity to meet and exceed goals
  • Provide thought leadership and maintain a high level of ‘digital curiosity’ on strategies and marketplace evolution trends

Team leadership and development

  • Flawlessly manage digital marketing plan development, client relationships and internal departments (media, creative, analytics, marketing operations) through the setting of clear business priorities and objectives
  • Mentor the career development of your account team direct reports to ensure professional growth and business effectiveness
  • Build internal relationships, encourage collaboration and motivate your internal partners, while identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies across the team

Business acumen and service mentality

  • Understand the levers of profitability and how to affect them; hold P&L accountability across the client programs you manage
  • Have entrepreneurial experience with a strong sense of accountability for speed and effectiveness of delivery


Qualifications:

The Account Director must have solid understanding of the online and paid search consumer marketplace and response-driven tactics. We are looking for someone who is comfortable thinking strategically and analyzing performance in a continually evolving, dynamic environment.  Leapfrog Online is a growing company, and to feel at home here, you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated and a proactive problem-solver.

  • Minimum of 7 years of digital experience with a focus on response marketing. Digital agency experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client and team management.
  • Working knowledge of the holistic digital landscape:  video, audio, social, programmatic, paid search and marketing analytics.
  • Ability to use various sources of market and customer data to develop marketing strategies.
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to meet multiple objectives in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Proven relationship building skills and client interaction experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • BA required (Marketing preferred).  Masters' degree is a plus.
