We are seeking a proven sales performer to join our growing sales team. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers and managing current accounts in the targeted segment of hotels and event companies. Our eSignature and payment tool is quickly becoming a must have tool for these organizations. This is a high-impact role integral to our growth in the hospitality industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue by closing new customer accounts and cross-selling existing customers with a focus on the hospitality industry
  • Manage the sales process: deliver impactful product demonstrations, draft proposals and close new business
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet individual sales quota and MRR goals
  • Work closely with designated Sales Development Representative on target accounts
  • Post-sale, collaborate with Customer Success team to ensure continued customer satisfaction
  • Actively manage Salesforce database with all sales-related activity
  • Build and maintain rapport with customers and prospects to form strong, long-term business relationships built on trust
  • Become an expert in industry dynamics, emerging opportunities and competitive trends
  • Attend interactive weekly meetings with sales team to discuss pipeline and brainstorm new ideas for growth
  • Represent Sertifi in a positive and professional way in all interactions
  • Travel to target accounts and tradeshows to interact with customers as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in B2B software sales and/or hospitality sales as an individual contributor
  • Proven track record of high performance and exceeding quota
  • Ability to sell to DOS's, CIO's and IT leaders
  • Experience selling technology in the hospitality and event industry a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiating and closing skills
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team, and take initiative under minimal direct supervision
  • Experience demoing and presenting software technology
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, GoToMeeting and Office 365
  • High energy, self-motivated, ambitious
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
