Ready to lead the charge from the front lines of the world’s largest local commerce company? We’re looking for high-energy, iGeneration, change-the-world types to join our team as Account Executives for Breadcrumb Pro — the flagship product in Groupon’s Merchant OS business unit.

Our Merchant OS team is building the technologies that connect local merchants and consumers through simple, playful, and powerful enterprise-grade applications. The team is small, and looking to build by adding dynamic individuals that can handle the pace of this ever-changing team.

Supported by Groupon’s billion dollar balance sheet and unmatched experience in connecting local consumers and merchants, Breadcrumb’s affordable and powerful iPad-based POS has already begun redefining the world of food and beverage merchant technology. Our in-house payment processing service, Breadcrumb Payments, also offers merchants a simple, reliable, and low-cost option to handle customer transactions.

As a Breadcrumb Account Exec, you’ll join a high-octane sales machine with world-class training and development to further your career in sales, management, ninja skills, product, and spelunking.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process (prospecting, qualifying, positioning, and closing)
  • Build and manage your own book of business through cold calling, live prospecting, and through managing  inbound leads
  • Identify clients’ needs and cultivate effective sales strategies and proposals
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Breadcrumb’s products and services, both where we are and where we’re heading, and clearly articulating our competitive advantages
  • Deliver on-going results by building long-term, profitable partnerships with merchants
  • Help evolve our products and deliver the highest value to our merchant partners through analysis of competitive quotes and hardware estimates<strong

Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree (BA/BS/BE)
  • Salesforce.com or comparable CRM software proficiency a plus
  • Ability to engage clients as you build relationships quickly and effectively
  • Organized, independent, resourceful and diligent in maintaining customer data
  • A desire to learn and develop sales skills with an ever-changing sales organization
  • A sense of coachability and confidence that is so balanced, it has its own end zone dance
  • Ambitious and ready to keep up with a competitive, goal-driven, start-up environment
  • A high degree of professionalism, poise, and maturity with the ability to multitask and handle pressure swimmingly
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
