As our Chicago Account Executive, you will be a champion for our mission: To empower people to carshare everywhere. You will be responsible for growing our community of car owners by evangelizing our product, developing relationships with local businesses, and providing an exceptional onboarding experience for new members. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven. You are passionate about the the customer journey, have experience with multichannel sales tactics, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll be doing
- Build the community of car owners in Chicago through outreach by email, phone and in-person meetings
- Serve as an expert resource for Getaround and evangelize the benefits of car sharing, including our patented software and hardware technology
- Source, build, and maintain relationships with fleet owners and local businesses
- Maximize new car owner confidence by providing an informative and transparent ramp up experience.
- Partner with marketing managers to offer insight into the effectiveness of lead generation strategies
- Partner with operations coordinators to ensure a timely and responsive car onboarding experience
- Proven track record with progressive experience in multichannel sales or top-tier retail
- Team player with competitive spirit and motivation to hit ambitious goals
- Familiarity with using data and process to increase sales velocity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities
- Readiness to close the deal, whenever and wherever the opportunity exists
- Previous experience in peer-to-peer space
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for automotive trends
- Multilingual
