Chicago’s most exciting startup, Shiftgig, is seeking a high-energy, out-going, fun, and self-motivated staffing Account Manager. Shiftgig is an on-demand staffing solution for clients ranging from hospitality to light industrial who value our technology and ease-of-use. Located in Chicago’s River North, our account managers are responsible for growing accounts in the service and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
§ Manage and grow a book of business within our core verticals
§ Prospect new opportunities within existing client accounts to increase market share and maximize account revenue
§ Work hand-in-hand with Community and Recruitment teams to ensure proper service delivery and fulfillment
§ Identify and execute client communication strategy to best service the account and grow relationship with client
§ Effectively communicate client expectations to internal colleagues to source and place candidates in appropriate irregular temp or regular temp opportunities
§ Accountable for account revenue growth goals and activity metrics
§ Work closely with clients and Bullpen management team to proactively identify forecasted supply and demand of existing clients
§ Heavy client interaction, including cold-calling, client meetings, and event visits
Preferred Skills and Experience:
§ Proven experience (2+ years) in B2B account management or sales
§ Agency contract/temp staffing experience preferred
§ Significant experience in sales with an emphasis in value based selling
§ Strong knowledge of hospitality market and exceptional account management skills
§ Excellent communicator, particularly in writing and online venues
§ Entrepreneurial spirit, including the willingness to roll up your sleeves
§ Advanced Salesforce CRM knowledge
§ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
§ Must be a team player
