About the role:

The Mx Group is searching for an enthusiastic, motivated client services professional to join our team of B2B marketers.

As an account manager, you’ll work closely with a tight-knit team of marketing professionals to plan and manage innovative B2B programs from start to finish. You’ll work to generate demand and shape programs that enable clients to achieve their business goals, with a special emphasis on digital marketing and web development. 

You’ll collaborate with our team of in-house technologists, creatives and demand creation professionals to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.

And you’ll do it all in an open, collaborative agency — one of Built In Chicago’s Top 100 Digital Companies in Chicago for two years in a row — where you’re encouraged to speak up, share your ideas and think outside the box.

What we’re looking for:

• 4–7 years of professional B2B marketing experience (agency experience a plus)
• Prior experience managing digital development projects and CMS-driven websites
• Prior experience with Marketo or other marketing automation programs a plus
• Experience overseeing the full lead generation cycle, from strategy and execution to reporting and analysis
• Calm under pressure, able to hit tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Highly organized and self-motivated 
• Able to manage multiple marketing projects / clients simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Bachelor’s degree
