As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of financial and accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, purchasing, and customer invoicing. You will work on both accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliations of accounts and preparation of various accounting reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing our vendor and customer databases, including collecting, analyzing and updating the data. This position reports to our Accountant and is located in our Chicago headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with our client-facing teams to coordinate on customer invoicing and other documentation
- Research, reconcile, and resolve unapplied customer payments
- Enter vendor invoices in our accounting system and prepare payments
- Process and approve employee purchase requests and travel and expense reimbursements
- Analyze data and prepare various financial reports
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Advanced MS Office skills – particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage financial data in a confidential and professional manner
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience in the technology industry
- Experience with data and analytics
