We work with municipalities, agencies, and utilities to integrate their business processes and citizen interactions onto a central, cloud-based platform accessible through multiple channels, including web, mobile, kiosk, and point-of-sale.

What we are looking for:

CityBase is looking for a self-starter, roll-up-your-sleeves kind of accountant to become part of our growing team. This position will report to the Vice President of Finance and will be expected to own all things accounting and play a major supporting role in developing the long-term finance strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Own all things accounting:
  
  • Daily Cash preparation and related journal entries.
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable and Collections
  • Month-end close process
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Maintain sub-ledger detail
  • Record journal entries
  • Maintain customer/vendor records
  • Travel reimbursement
  • Process Payroll
• Implement corporate accounting practices and processes and continually evaluate and recommend enhancements
• Assist with and be the main point of contact during annual audit
• As the company grows there will be a chance to grow our an accounting team

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting/Finance
• 4-8 years experience
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Power Quickbooks user
• Be a cool person

• Memorize GAAP
• SaaS company experience
• Excel Wizardry
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Intacct
