ActiveCampaign is a quickly growing SaaS company. We’ve built an integrated marketing & sales platform for companies of all sizes. We are known as the easiest to use solution on the market and we offer one of the best support experiences.
Over the past couple years, the buzz around our platform has been growing. On the marketing team especially, there is a sense of urgency to capitalize on that goodwill. You’ll need to be a driven, self-motivated person who can produce great work, quickly.

Your focus will be on advertising and optimizing the conversion rate from our ad spend. You’ll play an important part in introducing ActiveCampaign to new users and amplifying our presence in the marketplace.



Your typical day might consist of:
  • Researching and prioritizing advertising opportunities.
  • Crafting an advertising strategy that is tied to the growth goals of the company. You’ll find ways to reach new customers and strengthen our relationship with existing customers.
  • You’ll work with our design team to create visuals, and you’ll write copy, for ads in a variety of channels and formats. You’ll be focused on ROI (not branding).
  • You’ll analyze performance data to identify where we should invest and adjust our strategy as needed. You'll be responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Designing split tests to optimize ads and landing pages.
  • You’ll help with a variety of marketing-related tasks including: email campaigns, copy, user resources, assets for our sales team, and whatever else needs to be done.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Experience in the SaaS industry, with experience in the ESP or CRM space strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and optimizing Adwords ads and managing an Adwords account with a high spend.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization. To strengthen your application, include examples of how you optimized campaigns to transform low-performers into a high-converting winners through optimization.
  • You should be comfortable with calculating marketing statistics and using spreadsheets to analyze data.
  • Examples of ads that demonstrate your ability to communicate powerful marketing messages succinctly.
  • You should be comfortable with number crunching to calculate figures important to understanding the performance of digital advertising campaigns.
  • You should be comfortable with HTML.
  • You should be a decisive person that is comfortable managing a sizable budget and negotiating prices.
  • A strong work ethic. You’ll need to balance quality and productivity to produce your best work in the least time possible.
