Accounts Payable and Payroll Supervisor
Job Description
Enova is currently searching for a bright, energetic, and ambitious Accounts Payable and Payroll Supervisor to join our team; problem-solvers, self-directors and action-oriented thinkers are required. Candidates will be expected to hit the ground running learning the technologies, strategies, and analytical techniques that will enable them to contribute to the continued success of the company. The AP and Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for day to day AP and Payroll processes and a 3-person team.
This is where YOU come in:
- Oversee the AP day to day tasks which include, but are not limited to:
- customer vendor relations
- weekly settlement runs
- analysis of monthly Key Performance Indicators
- oversight of direct reports workload and inquiries
- Manage the year-end 1099, escheatment, and tax related matters
- Oversee the Payroll day to day tasks which include, but are not limited to:
- oversight of direct reports workload and inquiries
- payroll related employee inquiries
- managing the bi-weekly payroll runs
- Partner with our outsourced payroll provider on new initiatives and existing projects
- Drive AP and Payroll related projects
- Act as initial escalation point for personnel issues
- Provide informal and formal performance feedback
- Drive continuous improvements and standardization within the AP and Payroll areas
- Audit related work/support
You’re right for this job if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 5 – 7 years of Accounts Payable and Payroll experience
- 2 – 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and handle multiple assignments
- Proficient use of computer applications including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Workday Finance and HCM a plus
- Ability to work overtime when needed, during peak periods
