Job Description:

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Senior Accountant Job Duties:

• Own all accounting processes of a fast growing business including invoicing, A/R, A/P, expense management, and payroll.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Assists in development of internal controls and streamlining of processes.
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• CPA required.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years public accounting experience.
• Full financial close cycle experience required.
• Demonstrates strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Revenue Recognition.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skills; interested in identifying and fixing problems.
• Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels.
