Based on this growth and success, Rise is seeking to add an experienced Associate Director, Digital Strategy, to our team.

 

Summary and Scope:

The Associate Director, Digital Strategy will be responsible for selling Internet marketing services to medium to large organizations.  The Associate Director, Digital Strategy will primarily target Directors and Vice Presidents of marketing departments.  Responsibilities range from developing account opportunities, defining the Internet marketing services to meet the account’s needs, and selling/closing (when appropriate) services to meet our prospective clients’ business goals. This person must be aggressive, driven, and ready to own a significant piece of the growing business here at Rise Interactive.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire sales meetings through primarily direct sales methodologies, i.e. telemarketing and 
    e-mail
  • Develop and cultivate leads from multiple methods – networking, trade resources, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Meet individual quarterly and annual sales / marketing goals
  • Serve as a liaison between Company and targeted client prospects
  • Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through Sales Pipeline Report, Budget Estimates and Call Reports
  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Company's competitive advantages
  • Stay current on changes and best practices in Internet marketing
  • Listen to, identify and understand prospects' viewpoint and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and expectations
  • Manage assigned consultants
  • Manage the sales process including: sourcing, qualification, strategy and fulfillment and close

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years sales experience required – preferably online advertising, direct marketing, internet marketing or e-commerce industries
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • High competency level in Google Apps Suite, including Gmail, Google Docs, etc., as well as Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Deeply familiar and passionate about the World Wide Web and online marketing
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
  • Success in an entrepreneurial environment
