Overview

Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service digital advertising agency, is looking to hire an Associate Director, Digital Strategy. We are seeking a detail-oriented tenacious self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial culture to help us grow our quickly expanding Fortune 500 client base.

Summary and Scope

The Associate Director, Digital Strategy will be responsible for selling Internet marketing services to Sr. leaders in fortune 2000 companies. This is an enterprise level sales gig. The Associate Director, Digital Strategy will have full cycle sales responsibilities, but you will not be alone in your selling efforts. We work in a team-selling environment. Rise pours its top talents and resources into every deal. You will also be supported by our 3 headed lead generating monster, which includes our business development reps, our aggressive marketing campaigns, and our global partnerships group. We are flush with new opportunity and we need a rock star dealmaker to help round out our team.

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Digital team and agency cross-functional teams on the development of digital marketing campaign concepts and strategies for clients; be able to speak to the unique ways different digital strategies work within a campaign structure
  • Acquire sales meetings through primarily direct sales methodologies, i.e. telemarketing and e-mail
  • Develop and cultivate leads from multiple methods – networking, trade resources, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Meet individual quarterly and annual sales / marketing goals
  • Serve as a liaison between Company and targeted client prospects
  • Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through Sales Pipeline Report, Budget Estimates and Call Reports
  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Company's competitive advantages
  • Stay current on changes and best practices in Internet marketing
  • Listen to, identify and understand prospects' viewpoint and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and expectations
  • Manage assigned consultants
  • Responsible for sales material development, proposal development, Digital media plans, presentation development (including the development of comprehensive contracts to support our formal Digital proposals)
  • Manage the sales process including: sourcing, qualification, strategy and fulfillment and close

 

Required Skills

  • 7+ years sales experience required – preferably online advertising, direct marketing, internet marketing or e-commerce industries
  • 4+ years of selling to enterprise level clients
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • High competency level in Google Apps Suite, including Gmail, Google Docs, etc., as well as Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Deeply familiar and passionate about the World Wide Web and online marketing
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
  • Success in an entrepreneurial environment
