The Associate Product Manager will support the Product Manager in managing our various custom Billing modules. They'll also build a foundation of general product management knowledge, including product design, quality testing, troubleshooting, and communications.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with the creation of product functional specifications that clearly communicate detailed functionality and architecture. 
  • Assist with the creation of wireframes that clearly convey product features and functionality to a web designer and contribute to the web/graphics design effort.
  • Communicate product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the development process.
  • Work closely with the Documentation team to define product functionality for bswift release documents and help documentation.
  • Perform quality testing of the product prior to new product releases. 
  • Troubleshoot product issues escalated from the Ongoing Products Team.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within bswift for the assigned product areas.
  • Liaise with other business groups including Client Services, Sales, Marketing and Software Development to define and communicate product requirements.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
  • At least 2 years of work experience in software product management or as an analyst 
  • Critical, analytical thinker with proven ability to solve problems creatively and identify solutions to complex requests
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with financial systems or processes (billing, payments) is a plus

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
