Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire an Associate QA Analyst, into the Web Development team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining the Customer Experience team and contributing professionally to an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.
Summary and Scope
The Associate QA Analyst role will become a cornerstone of Rise’s growing mobile and web development team. In this role, you will be working directly with developers and clients on projects ranging from exciting new startups to high impact enterprise applications.

Responsibilities
- Conduct manual functional testing of new projects for desktop and mobile
- Conduct full regression testing on new or existing projects for desktop and mobile
- Report issues found during testing life cycle to development via JIRA
- Regularly summarizes testing status and areas of risk to team
- Help set and maintain quality standards
- Assist with creation and updating of test scripts
- Assist with standardizing QA processes
- Contribute to a growing team in an agile environment
Required Skills
- 1 year of software testing or relevant experience
- Knowledge of test methodologies, creating test scripts and debugging
- Understanding of Agile System Development Life Cycle
- Passion for Testing and Software Development
- Experience with Quality Assurance in a technical environment
- Excellent knowledge of mobile and web environments, and UX considerations therein
- Experience with Github, Xcode, and Android studio
- Strict about best-practices
- Great communication skills
- Ability to speak clearly at a non-technical level
- Ability to take your own initiative
- A desire to learn new things and teach others
- Preferably has knowledge of JIRA or equivalent project management system
- Some experience with Photoshop or other Creative Suite programs
- Preferably with design or copywriting background
- Work well within a team
