BI Marketing Analyst
PEAK6 Investments, LLC is a proprietary trading firm with a number of diverse portfolio investments under its umbrella. As part of its core investment strategy, PEAK6 has developed an internal consulting organization (PEAK6 Consulting Group) that is leveraged throughout the investment lifecycle. The Consulting Team’s scope of engagement can vary widely from consultative in nature to more extensive operating roles within portfolio companies. Each engagement is unique which provides for a very compelling mix of interesting work and opportunities.
We’re looking for someone who:

What you’ll do all day:
- Be an integral part of a growing team. work closely with a variety of businesses and teams and help them define key metrics, by identifying trends and opportunities in digital channels; along with being able to analyze traffic from those channels
- Deliver actionable insights. You’ll synthesize data from various sources and use your data savviness to build recommendations for business leaders
- Identify and build opportunities (and reports).You’ll help build requirements, definition, project scoping, and timeline management to ensure great practice.
- Use data to drive better decisions. You are highly analytical and driven to find key insights by data mining large and complex data sets. You’ll bring the right data to the table that will drive decisions around strategy and implementation.
- Be empowered. You won’t be micromanaged. You’ll be given the tools and latitude to solve challenges and bring forward your best ideas to generate new areas of opportunity.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics related field
- 3+ years organizing, analyzing and interpreting marketing or customer data.
- Working knowledge of knowledge of data-extraction and analysis tools (SQL, Tableau)
- Able to provide detailed and accurate reporting to both clients and internal teams
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Tableau and/or other graphical interfaces
- Strong background in data analysis and quantitative thinking
- Advanced knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc,
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong presentation skills
