Paro is looking for an exceptional candidate to be our first Business Intelligence Analyst to develop, maintain, and evolve custom quantitative reports and data visualizations for our clients and partners. You will work directly with the executive team to inform strategic business decisions based on insights gained from your analyses. Our ideal candidate is an analytical powerhouse, is strategic and thoughtful in determining the right questions to ask, takes initiative to seek out the right data for the right answers and can deliver findings in a clear and concise manner.Compensation: $40-60k base
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
- Design, develop, and maintain customized reports and dashboards to ensure visibility into each client’s / partner’s performance
- Support CEO and Director of Finance with weekly and monthly financial reporting as needed
- Ensure data accuracy by validating data, identifying any missing data, and working with our clients / partners to capture the right data
- Retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to draw relevant and actionable insights
- Extreme comfort utilizing Excel, Tableau, SQL (not necessary, but a plus), and other data management tools to develop and create actionable visuals based upon the data provided
- 1+ years as a business analyst or consultant (client-facing experience is a plus)
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prepare and present reports, forecasts, trends, and actionable insights to our clients and partners using Excel and Tableau
- Detail-oriented self-starter with experience working on multiple projects in parallel and strong follow through
- Strategy-minded and strong problem-solving skills
