Job Description:
The Business Analyst will lead a wide variety of important quantitative analyses to improve business performance. We are looking for a talented and ambitious candidate who is passionate about quantitative analysis and using data to discover business insights, improve company performance, and report on findings in the live sporting event and concert/tour ticketing industry. This is a unique opportunity to receive senior mentorship and gain exposure to a broad array of business issues while driving high-impact results through quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data from a variety of sources using clear, well-documented, and understandable methodology with a focus on web analytics and marketing
- Utilize data visualization tools to efficiently create and update detailed daily, weekly, or monthly reports for critical ongoing business operations
- Research, review and analyze sales patterns, customer behavior, market trends, event inventory, ticket pricing, competitive dynamics, and field ad hoc requests
- Maintain strong working relationships with digital marketing functions such as Paid Search, SEO, Email Marketing and other marketing analytics
- Collaborate with colleagues from any level of the organization based on the project, including executive leadership, department heads, and other analyst colleagues
- Present findings in clear, concise and well-documented reports
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related business field
- 1-2 years of business experience in an analytical setting
- Experience with Google Analytics, Omniture or other web analytics platform is strongly preferred
- Must have a demonstrated competence in quantitative analysis and experience applying analytical methods and approaches in a business context
- Expert-level Excel capabilities
- Knowledge digital marketing analytics would be a plus (Paid Search, SEO, email marketing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong familiarity with PowerPoint
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity and interest in maintaining current knowledge on sports and concert information
