Business Analyst
PEAK6 Investments, LLC is an investments firm with a number of diverse portfolio investments. As part of its core investment strategy PEAK6 has developed an internal consulting organization (PEAK6 Consulting Group) that is leveraged throughout the investment lifecycle. The Consulting team’s scope of engagement can vary widely from consultative in nature only to as extensive as operating roles within portfolio companies. Each engagement is different which provides for a very compelling mix of interesting work and opportunities. The team also enjoys high levels of empowerment, associated levels of accountability, and collaborates in an intellectually stimulating and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with a variety of businesses in a consultative role; types of projects will vary but building effective relationships with the business and stakeholders will be essential
- Collecting and documenting business requirements for software development and other projects
- Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, recommend alternative solutions, project strategy, and deliverable prioritization
- Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvement
- Assist with functional and UAT testing
- Review information and trends to ensure that project deliverables are achieving the desired results
- Conducting business process reviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
- Influence all levels of management to ensure that projects are receiving the necessary support and are resourced sufficiently to deliver results
The skills you need to succeed:
- Must have 3-5 years of prior work experience preferably in a digital marketing, advertising agency, or consulting environment
- Familiar with enterprise technical solutions (Salesforce or another CRM)
- A deep understanding of digital mediums, technologies, and trends
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up and learn the essentials of new businesses
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
- MBA preferred
