Job Description
The Business Analyst will contribute to the continued development of the business risk infrastructure and the advancement of the reporting and analytic environment within Customer Service and Credit Management (CSCM), Business Risk. This position will develop and continuously improve reporting, automation, process improvement, infrastructure development, ad-hoc analysis, and strategy optimization. In addition, this position will collaborate to develop team skills and capabilities; Enhance quality control processes and project quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
Complete technical projects through use of SAS, SQL, Access, Excel, Tableau, and other available tools
Collaborate with Corporate Risk in the development of a Risk Metric DataMart, including the development of production-quality atomic-level data structure, required summary tables, and the associated metadata repository
Participate in efforts for enhancing overall automation and analytic capabilities, including information assessment, process improvement and new technology evaluation and adoption
Develop scorecards, dashboards, and other reporting that provides more timely and automated information feeds to the CSCM organization
Maintain a high level of competency in analytical principles, tools and techniques
Manage project prioritization and project management in conjunction with business partner input
Proactively acquire business knowledge and technical expertise to provide insights to our business issues and concerns
Assist in documenting achievements and accomplishments at the individual and team level

Skills
Bachelor degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or other quantitative fields. Masters preferred.
5+ years of financial services or related technical experience, with a focus on reporting and/or analytics
Extensive working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Teradata, and relational databases
Ability to work well with minimal direction. Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and leadership skills required.
Demonstrated project management skills, prioritization abilities, and detail oriented work product
Excellent communication and interpersonal/collaboration skills
Possessing a combination of business aptitude and technical knowledge
Customer service and satisfaction mindset
Preferred experience with architecting, developing, and/or using business intelligence platforms (Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, Essbase, etc)
